Extended friction grip carbide bur designed to effectively:

• section non-restorable teeth in preparation for an atraumatic extraction;
• make a "purchase point" for forceps beaks or to engage root tip picks;
• decorticate bone; and
• demarcation for ridge leveling.

Uses Per Bur: It is hard to state the number of recommended uses for this bur, as it really depends on how and what the bur is used for. The bur should be replaced when it is no longer cutting with precision and ease.
